Verizon Communications Inc (VZ.N) said an attacker had exploited a security flaw in your corporate clients portal to steal information from a number of customer contact.

The company said it does not attack, however, has access to customer proprietary network information (CPNI) or other data.

CPNI is information that phone companies receivables including time, date, duration and destination number of each call and the type of network a consumer subscriber.

Krebs security, the first news of the rape broke, he said a member of a forum on cybercrime underground had published a new thread announcing the sale of a database containing contact information in any 1.5 million Verizon Enterprise.
